Why I Built Kalep: Golf clothing that finally fits and performs in real heat

Hey, I’m the guy behind Kalep — and I’m writing this wearing one of our Performance Polos after a sweaty 18 holes this morning in Phuket, Thailand.

For years I struggled with the same problem most of you know too well. Golf clothing that looked decent on the rack but felt terrible on the course. Boxy fits that bunched up during the swing. Heavy fabrics that trapped heat and stayed wet after the first few holes. Nothing that actually moved with me when the humidity hit 90%.

I got tired of compromising.

That frustration is exactly why Kalep exists. I started this brand to create performance golf clothing that solves the real problems we face on the course — especially in warm, humid conditions. No more choosing between looking sharp and playing comfortable.

Every piece is designed around three things I refuse to compromise on:

• Stretch Where It Matters Four-way stretch fabrics that move with your body so you can rotate freely and finish every swing with confidence.

I personally test every new design on the course and in training. If it doesn’t survive my own punishing schedule, it doesn’t go live.

The Owner’s Commitment

This isn’t a big corporate brand. It’s my name and my reputation on the line. I still play & train 2–3 times a week in the same polos, shorts, and quarter-zips I sell you. When you wear Kalep, you’re wearing gear I’ve already put through its paces.
